Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This policy explains what happens to data when you use DNS Speed Lab (www.fastestdns.online). We keep data collection to a minimum and do not sell personal data.

2. The DNS speed test

The speed test runs in your browser. When you start a test, your browser sends DNS queries for the selected test domains directly to each third-party DNS provider being tested (for example Cloudflare or Google). Those providers receive your IP address and the queries, under their own privacy policies. Your test results stay in your browser: we do not receive or store them unless you choose to export or share them yourself.

3. Server benchmark

Our server separately measures public DNS providers on a schedule. This uses only our server's own network and involves no visitor data.

4. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and your IP address, which Google processes under its own privacy policy. You can block analytics with your browser settings or extensions.

5. Cookies

Public pages set no cookies of our own; cookies on them come from Google Analytics. The admin area uses a session cookie to keep administrators signed in.

6. Infrastructure providers

The site is delivered through Cloudflare and our hosting provider. They process technical request data (such as IP address, browser user agent and requested page) to deliver the site, protect it from abuse, and keep short-lived logs.

7. Data retention

We do not store your speed test results. Server and security logs are kept only as long as needed to operate and protect the service. Administrator account data is kept while the account exists.

8. Your rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold by emailing hello@fastestdns.online.

9. Updates

We will update this page when our practices change.
